Latino Prosecutors Association Founded in 2001

Mission Statement

Specifically, the goals of the Association will be to:

Organize the efforts of Latino Prosecutors for the collective benefit of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, criminal justice system, legal profession, and the community;

Promote professional and social interaction among the members of the association, the legal profession, and the community;

Interact with the public to improve the perception of law enforcement and the justice system within the Latino community;

Educate the Latino community regarding the justice system and provide a forum for communication;

Promote the District Attorney's Office in law schools and the legal community as a rewarding career with unlimited opportunities;

Offer scholarships, mentoring and assistance to students in the continuation of their education.
